Our Mission
DJ Sports Club, a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1996, is one of the largest youth clubs in the South-West, Brossard and Verdun boroughs.
The focus of DJ Sports Club is Basketball, Education, Social & Technology. While teaching important life skills, we strive to incorporate pride, passion and fun in all our programs that enhances the overall development of children.
Our intention is to continue preparing tomorrow's leaders with pride, passion and fun.

Growing up in the inner-city, I saw first-hand the impact of substance abuse and gang-activities on children and youth in our neighbours. This was what inspired me to work towards positive change. I recognized the importance of having a productive safe space as an alternative to the streets. DJ Sports Club is that place, where hundreds of youth are learning life skills to become their best selves and potentially tomorrow's leaders in the community. That said, the amount of violence involving young people which remains commonplace in our city is a clear indicator that there remains much to be done.
As the Founder and Director of DJ Sports Club, I am proud to lead this organization through such a key time, during which we are committed to increasing the number of our members and programs since October 2018 by 50 percent over the coming five years. This is an ambitious objective that we are well-positioned to achieve. By capitalizing on our management team's many years of leadership experience and the dedication of our talented staff, we have built and strengthened the organization to what it is today and are poised for significant growth going forward.
Our work would not be possible without the support of our exceptional group of volunteers and program partners and the generosity of our donors. Finally, a special thanks to the invaluable wealth of resources provided to us by the Little Burgundy Sports Center, the South-West Borough, the City of Brossard, Verdun, Celsius Communications and Dexter's Basketball Club Inc.
